From Weak Grip and Knee Injury Setbacks to Gecko’s In-House Physio.
Hey, I’m Sam. I grew up in Australia obsessed with movement and competition. By my teens I was chasing performance hard playing basketball until my body started breaking down.
First it was knee pain that wouldn’t quit for 6 years and then the realisation that my grip strength and pulling power just weren’t where they needed to be for climbing.
Injuries left me frustrated, burnt out and scared I’d never unlock the strength I needed to keep progressing in sport or life.
While studying physiotherapy at university I reached a breaking point. I stopped outsourcing my training and recovery and took full control. I dug into the research, tested protocols on myself and built a system based on evidence-driven loading and progressive strength work.
Not only did I rebuild my knees, but I learned the skill of synthesising evidence into real-world protocols for rehab, strength & power.
This program is built off the back of that skill. After scouring through finger-strength research for hundreds of hours over the last couple of months, I built this program for those wanting to take themselves to the next level.
